Learn & grow with live workshops.
Youâve built your resume in the military, now youâre ready to build your civilian career. But where do you even begin? How will you know whatâs right for you? Thatâs where Fall In comes in. We find that this method helps our members connect with each in ways they never thought possible. You might work on a project that brings new colleagues and friends, casually talk with someone from another country, or even conduct user research directly with a Medal of Honor Keynote Speaker.

Barbara Oakley, PhD. an Army veteran, will talk about how learning how to learn is the most powerful tool you can ever grasp. Barbara has had millions of students take her online courses on how the brain uses two very different learning modes and how it encapsulates (âchunksâ) information.
Later in the evening, we'll celebrate Alive Day for Army veteran, Vital B.
Check in starts with how to navigate the online platform and an ice breaker so we can all get to know each other. We'll also have a Figma and Code workshop starting on August 3rd at 5pm PST. More details in our slack.
While Judges are deliberating, DJ Lord Isac will be taking your requests and playing them live.
Michael is a Marine veteran and an engineer at Liblab which raised over $40M.

Jon dropped out Harvard Law to pursue coding. He has worked for Snap Inc, Google's Youtube, and now at a defense startup.

Workshops
We will have live design and engineering workshops. You'll get an inside look into how pros work in real time, and you can learn from their successes and failures.
Speakers
We are bringing together six speakers from around the world. They'll provide attendees with insights and inspiration that will help them in their own work.
Networking
With our four virtual breakout sessions, you can network with other pros from the comfort of your own home. You don't even have to put on pants if you don't want to (but we strongly suggest that you do).
Beginner friendly
This virtual hackathon is a great place to meet new friends, especially if you're the type of person who likes to talk about  design, engineering, or pretty much any other kind of Tech. (And let's face it, if you're reading this, you probably are.) You'll have a great time.

Learn from the
best speakers.
This year, we're proud to have a lineup of speakers who are not only at the top of their industry, but who are also highly talented and creative. You won't be disappointed.

We've got the answers for your questions
Seriously, if you have any questions about the hackathon, we have the answers.
We will help pair you up every week leading up to the event. More details in our Slack.
Live design and coding workshops begins August 3rd at 5pm PST. These workshops allow you to see how pros work in real time, and you can learn from their successes and failures. The hackathon also provides an opportunity to meet others and discuss the latest trends in Tech. If you're looking to improve your skills and network with others, our hackathon is the perfect place to start.
We hold our hackathons over Framevr.io for a fully immersive experience on the metaverse. There's nothing to download and the platform works best on Google Chrome. There will be private audio zones and you will be able to share your screen as well.
Framevr is an immersive 3D space where you can work together with other developers in the same room to create rich experiences, or just hang out and chat.
What's the time commitment? Put out as much as you can to help your team.
When you join us for this event, you'll be able to meet veterans from all over the place. Each one of us brings a unique perspective to the table and you'll be able to collab with one another during our networking breakout sessions.
We know that finding opportunities in tech can be hard, so it's important that we take advantage of every chance we get to connect with other pros who are going through the same thing. We're looking forward to seeing you there!
